Burns Announces New Employees in the Project Management Oversight (PMO) Group

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Region V (Chicago) recently awarded Burns a task order for Project Management Oversight (PMO) services for Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Metra, and Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) FTA “New Starts” and other major capital improvement projects. Burns will supplement the FTA staff in assessing project management and technical capacities related to their development programs. Burns is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Reich, Deborah Tilley, and Robert Wokurka to our staff.

Daniel T. Reich, PE
Dan is a transit professional with over 30 years of program management and civil engineering experience, and has been involved with PMO work for 13 years. In his role at Burns, Dan will serve as PMO Program Manager, with the initial assignment to manage Burns’ ongoing PMO efforts in Phoenix. He will also assist with the continuing coordination of FTA Region V projects.

Deborah L. Tilley, PE
Debbie has over 20 years of civil engineering and construction experience in project management oversight for transit projects. She has worked on traffic control and capacity studies for transit agencies, and was instrumental in helping FTA monitor the on-time and under-budget performance of Chicago’s Metra New Starts projects. Debbie joins Burns as a PMO Project Manager for FTA Region V.

Robert A. Wokurka, PE
Bob has over 30 years of transit project management experience. Bob has managed multi-modal transportation center projects and capacity improvement studies for freight railroads and has considerable expertise in the design of bridges and tunnels. In his role at Burns, Bob will act as a PMO Project Manager.
