Burns Announces Strategic Additions to the Company
Daren Petroski, PE, Peter Gaffer, PE, and Devonne Jackson, PE have joined our staff to continue our commitment to project excellence and client satisfaction.
Daren Petroski, PE
Daren has over 20 years of experience in the design, estimating and construction management of railroad electrical systems and facilities. He has been a Project Manager for installation and design projects since 1994, and has been the Group Lead for railroad electrification for a transit consulting firm since 2002. Daren has a proven record of completing projects on time and within budget. Daren joins Burns as a Senior Project Manager and the Transit Design Group Leader.
Peter Gaffer, PE
Peter’s 40-year career has been focused entirely on the engineering and management of railroad and mass transit projects for projects totalling more than $500 billion in construction. This began in the civil engineering department of London Transport (UK), one of the largest mass transit systems in the world. In the U.S., he has worked in consulting engineering, where he has been involved in a broad range of transit and intercity rail projects covering passenger stations, maintenance shops and yards, track, bridges, traction power and transportation planning.
Devonne Jackson, PE
Devonne has 20 years of engineering experience and has spent the last 10 years managing a variety multi-discipline facilities projects. Her talents in cost estimating, reviewing construction bid package deliverables, maintaining project schedules and budgets, and supporting field construction will be an asset to Burns, enhancing our capabilities in Project Management and Client Satisfaction. Devonne joins Burns as the Project Manager of Aviation Facilities, where she will apply her experience in Project Management to ensure that out team’s efforts are directed at achieving client goals.
