Burns Expanding Security System at Ronald Reagan National Airport
Burns Engineering is providing design to expand the existing CCTV security camera system at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, DC. The new system will utilize IP cameras for the first time at the airport.
This system upgrade is needed to provide greater surveillance at key areas in the terminal buildings, including TSA checkpoints, jetbridge doors and secondary search areas, as well as baggage screening areas. The Transportation Security Administration initiated this federally funded project when they deemed multiple upgrades were needed throughout the terminal buildings.
