Burns Selected by FTA for Project Management Oversight (PMO) Services for $1.672 Billion in Light Rail Expansion Projects in Arizona
Burns’ most recent PMO assignment is to oversee the $1.672 billion transit expansion programs underway by the Valley Metro Rail or “Metro” in the Central Valley Region of Arizona, which includes Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Scottsdale. The current assignment includes Program Oversight of:
- Central Phoenix/East Valley Light Rail Transit Project, which consists of a $1.412 billion, 19.6 mile double track extending from central Phoenix, AZ to Mesa, AZ
- Northwest Extension Project, which extends approximately five miles north of the CP/EV LRT.
