Burns Selected to Perform Risk Analysis for NJ Transit ARC Project
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) awarded Burns a PMO assignment to perform analysis of scope, schedule and cost at the preliminary design phase for the NJ Transit Access to the Region’s Core (ARC) project. The project is a Trans-Hudson River tunnel that will double the rail capacity into and out of Midtown Manhattan from New Jersey. The findings of Burns’ reports will assist the FTA in quantifying cost and schedule risks associated with this project. This analysis will allow FTA and NJ Transit to advance the project with adequate contingency and project reserves in the Full Funded Grant Agreement (FFGA).
