Burns Selected to Provide Engineering Services for the SEPTA Berridge-Wyoming Roof Replacement
Burns Engineering has been selected to perform engineering, design, construction support, and related services for SEPTA’s Berridge-Wyoming Roof Replacement Project. Because Berridge Shop is SEPTA’s main bus repair garage, and the Wyoming Building houses both Transit Police and revenue collection, construction of this project must be phased to ensure that these operations can continue uninterrupted. The primary objective of this project is to make the roofs and walls of the buildings watertight by replacing or repairing any damaged, deteriorated, or failed elements. Burns intends to achieve these objectives under an orderly program that delivers quality within budget while maintaining SEPTA operations within the existing buildings.
