Gamesa Wind US, Open for Business
Burns has completed the design of a new production plant for Spanish-based energy company, Gamesa Wind US, LLC, the second largest manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide and the leader in Spain’s wind turbine industry that generates electric energy of renewable origin, mainly based on the development and management of wind farms, for the manufacture of wind turbines, blades, and towers in Bucks County, PA. This large project is one of a kind and is an accomplishment for everyone involved.
The project quickly grew into a major collaboration and coordination effort between Gamesa headquarters in Spain, Burns Engineering and the permitting agencies. Burns was able to successfully move the project forward and create the environment that would allow it to come to its current operating stage.
