Chuck Dennie Speaking On Innovations In Weather Instrumentation At Annual Airports Conference
On Tuesday, March 3rd at 3:30pm, Chuck Dennie, PE, LC, will present “Innovations in Weather Instrumentation” at the 2015 Airports Conference in Hershey, PA.
Chuck’s presentation will give an overview of common airfield weather instrumentation systems and how these systems inform airport operations of impending conditions. Chuck will identify typical instrumentation systems and their functionality, and will highlight what systems are required by the FAA. Additionally, Chuck will examine how to enhance an airfield’s weather instrumentation with new, innovative technologies.
Chuck has over ten years of expertise in electronic and visual navigational aids, airfield ground lighting and guidance signs, airfield lighting vaults, and medium and low voltage power distribution system design. Chuck has presented at numerous airfield lighting conferences, including “Redefining BWI: An Airfield Transformation” at the recent 2015 ACC/AAAE Airport Planning, Design & Construction Symposium, as well as “Modeling Airfield Lighting Vault Equipment for Coordination Studies” and “Calculating Airfield Lighting Circuit Insulation Resistance”, both at the Annual Airports Conference in Hershey.
Burns is also exhibiting at the conference. Please stop by and visit us in Booth #45!
We hope to see you at the Airports Conference beginning on March 2nd!
