Devonne Jackson Presenting At Airports Energy Efficiency Forum
On Wednesday, April 22, Devonne Jackson, PE, will co-present “What Makes Great Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Programs Happen at Airports” at the AAAE Airports Energy Efficiency Forum in New Orleans, Louisiana. Devonne’s presentation will draw upon her experience managing energy projects at Philadelphia International, Yeager, Washington Dulles International, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and Spokane International Airports. Devonne’s presentation will also highlight the coordination required between program managers, planners, architects, engineers and airport stakeholders to create optimum conditions for successful energy efficiency projects at airports.
As a Project Manager with Burns, Devonne draws upon her 25 years of engineering experience to manage complex infrastructure improvement projects for our aviation clients. Currently, Devonne manages Burns’ on-call general engineering and on-call special systems contract with Philadelphia International Airport, and is leading projects at Newark Liberty International, Louisville International, Charleston International, Yeager, and Bob Hope Airports. Devonne frequently participates in industry conferences and technical society meetings in order to expand her expertise in airport and aviation technology. She currently serves as a Director for the Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia, Vice President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO), and is an active member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and Women in Transportation Seminar (WTS).
