Pat Keeny Promoted To Aviation Project Manager

Pat Keeny, PE, LEED® AP was recently promoted to Project Manager in Burns’ Aviation Group! Pat started his career at Burns as a Mechanical Engineer in 2012. He is a graduate of Drexel University and has over 12 years of engineering experience.

Pat’s background includes design and management of systems improvements for a variety of facility types. Early in his career, Pat gained experience in the design of a multitude of mechanical systems including central heating and refrigeration plants (CHRP); cogeneration plants; air handling and distribution; chilled and hot water pumping and piping distribution; fire protection; LEED design; geothermal heat pumps; smoke control; plumbing, sanitary and storm water drainage systems; and site utilities. Pat’s leadership skills became apparent as his career progressed, and he excelled in his role as lead engineer, serving as the client’s main point of contact, and facilitating coordination across multiple disciplines. Pat’s responsiveness, thorough attention to detail, friendly disposition, and calm demeanor will help our clients complete successful infrastructure projects.

In his new role, Pat will focus on project management for airport facility projects. He has hit the ground running, and is already actively managing projects at BWI, PHL, IAD, JFK and EWR. He is also leading the effort on multiple airline projects, working with airlines including American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Airlines. We are proud to have Pat as part of the management team.
