Burns Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer William Mecaughey
We are thrilled to welcome William Mecaughey, CPA, to Burns as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer.
Bill graduated from Drexel University with an Bachelor’s degree in business. As a CPA, Bill was a senior manager at Ernst & Young before serving as CFO for the publicly-held Roy F. Weston, Inc. He went on to become the CFO of an ESOP-owned Federal IT services contractor DSA, Inc., where he helped them more than double in size. More recently, Bill joined ranks with an entrepreneur and served as CFO for Eagle Chauffeured Services.
Bill is active in a number of professional organizations, including the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group. A music fan, Bill chairs Rock to the Future, a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia that provides free contemporary music education for underserved youth. He is also a musician, and currently performs in a classic rock band. Bill lives in Glenmoore with his wife, Bonnie. They have two children.
