Burns is excited to announce the addition of Bryan Mehaffey, PMP, RCDD as our Director of Operations, Southeast Region. Bryan will be based in Burns’ new Orlando, Florida office, where he will help grow our Florida operations while also serving the needs of our growing list of Florida and Southeastern US clients.

As Director of Operations, Southeast Region, Bryan will provide leadership to our growing team, and will serve as our main point of contact for our clients in the Southeastern US, ensuring we continue to provide the responsiveness, teamwork and collaboration our clients have come to expect. Over the course of his career, Bryan has proven to be a pragmatic visionary with the ability to create solutions that are effective, practical and sustainable.  He is a strong leader with high energy and a positive attitude, and can organize teams to get results that are on time and within budget.

Bryan brings over two decades of experience delivering solutions to the technology, engineering and construction industries. He has guided facility operations and improvements, and served as Chief Technology Officer and held senior facilities positions at several large higher education campuses, including Ave Maria University, The University of South Florida System, and Florida Polytechnic University.  Most recently, Bryan ran project development for large projects at Johnson Controls, Inc. where he led a team of technical engineers and guided owners, engineers, and contractors on the deployment of advanced technology systems in the Higher Education, K-12 Education, Aviation, Hospitality and Medical Markets.  He also helped develop technical strategies and introduce new technologies to the market.  Bryan’s expertise in HVAC and Electrical Engineering, as well as IT/Technology, coupled with his knowledge of the Southeast and Florida market, will help Burns better serve our growing list of clients in the region.
