Elaine Stryker Presenting at Snacks with Scientists, Encouraging Young Girls to Explore STEM
On Friday, October 20th, Elaine Stryker will be a presenter at the annual Snacks with Scientists event hosted by the National Honor Society at High Technology High School in Lincroft, NJ.
Elaine will be joined by a group of professional women who work in the sciences industry, and they will inform young girls about working in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) field.
Snacks with Scientists is an annual outreach event designed to encourage 5th and 6th grade girls to explore STEM related fields. The program introduces young girls to the many career paths available in STEM, and creates a forum for students to meet and talk with successful women who have a wide variety of experience in the academic and professional world.
