David Kipp Speaking on Transportation Security Panel
On Wednesday, August 22nd, David Kipp is serving as a panelist for WTS Philadelphia’s “2018 Solution Series: Security” lunch. Panelists will explore the application of security measures within the transportation industry, and will discuss new research and technologies, security policy, and lessons learned from past threats and breaches. Joining Dave on the panel are security experts from SEPTA, TRB, and the Port Authority of NY & NJ.
Dave is Burns’ Vice President of Technology Services. For more than 30 years, he has devoted his professional career to the development of technology systems to support the infrastructure needs at major airports. Dave’s experience includes critical infrastructure protection, information technology strategic planning and engineering, mission critical facility development, and special systems. He has managed large technology infrastructure projects at airports in the US, Middle East, Africa and Asia, and is a recognized contributor to the fields of aviation technology and public security.
