We are thrilled to announce that our 2018 Monte Carlo Night – a fundraiser for local STEM programs – raised nearly $22,000!
Monte Carlo Night is part of our year-long campaign – “Engineering a Bright Tomorrow”- to raise money for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs through Project Lead the Way (PLTW). PLTW provides a comprehensive approach to STEM education through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum. This year’s fundraising efforts will benefit a School District of Philadelphia school as a grant for implementation or expansion of a PLTW program for the 2019-2020 school year.
This year’s Monte Carlo Night was held on Thursday, October 11th. This fun and festive evening was attended by Burns employees, clients, peers, friends, and supporters of STEM education, and significantly enhanced our fundraising success for this year’s PLTW initiative. We are immensely appreciative to all who donated and came out to help us support this wonderful cause. We are incredibly grateful to Burns’ Philanthropy Committee for all of the planning and hard work that went into making this a very successful event.
