Michael Ehrenberger Joins Burns as Signals & Communications Project Manager, Builds Systems Expertise
We are thrilled to welcome Michael J. Ehrenberger to the company! Mike has over 35 years of experience in vehicle system-level design and application of safety critical products for major railroad and transit clients. He is a systems and subject matter expert for the on-board Advanced Civil Speed Enforcement System (ACSES) – one of the dominant technologies used to integrate and implement Positive Train Control (PTC) systems.
His expertise with ACSES and PTC positions Burns as a comprehensive Systems Integrator, and allows us to provide fully-integrated PTC design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and configuration management solutions to our clients.
Mike joins Burns as a Project Manager in our Signals & Communications Group. He will work with our ACSES clients (Amtrak, commuter, and freight railroads) on new software development, implementation and testing to achieve interoperability objectives, and will help define, develop, and deploy next generation functionality for ACSES III.
