May ElKhattab Joins Burns’ Washington, D.C. Office as Project Manager
Burns is excited to welcome May ElKhattab, PE, PMP, ENV SP to our rapidly growing Railroad and Transit Group. May joins us as a Project Manager in our new Washington, D.C. office
May brings to Burns a progressive, proven track record of leading complex, high-visibility design and design-build rail projects for tunnels and new passenger stations for clients like WMATA, MTA Metro North Railroad, MBTA, Los Angeles County MTA, and Edmonton Transit LRT. She enjoys working in the rail industry because of the connectivity, accessibility and opportunity that public transportation provides to communities. In addition to committing her engineering and management expertise to her clients’ projects, she also serves as an officer for “Engineers without Borders”, where she has dedicated her time in Rwanda and Guatemala to the construction and commissioning of food processing and water treatment facilities.
May helps lead the team in our growing Washington, D.C. office, and will work with clients like WMATA, Amtrak and Maryland MTA to deliver a safe, enjoyable passenger experience. Welcome to Burns, May – we are so happy to have you!
