Burns Announces Retirement of Vice President Daren Petroski, PE

Burns is celebrating the career of Daren Petroski, PE, Vice President of Railroad and Transit, who announced his plans to retire effective Dec. 15.

During an outstanding 32-year engineering career, nearly half while at Burns, Daren was instrumental to the growth of our Railroad and Transit division. Through bold leadership and unmatched project-management acumen, Daren built Burns’ practice into one of the country’s foremost providers of critical rail system engineering services.

Daren has earned admiration across the industry through his commanding presence, extensive technical expertise, and ability to mobilize teams toward clear-sighted project solutions. Among the country’s most-respected railway systems engineering team leaders, his legacy includes successful design, construction and operational assistance of critical railroad and transit projects across the country.
