Melsie Ordoñez Joins Burns’ Growing South Florida Team
Burns welcomes the addition of Project Manager Melsie Ordoñez, PE, CxA, LEED® AP.
Melsie is an accomplished mechanical engineer with more than two decades of specialized healthcare, aviation and institutional project experience.
Focusing on Burns’ rapidly growing base of South Florida clientele, Melsie will guide clients throughout design and construction of large-scale heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and fire-protection system upgrades.
Melsie’s management approach prioritizes an inclusive design process. “Time and again, collaboration is what makes each project successful,” Melsie said. “By working closely with our clients and multi-disciplinary partners, our design strategies are most likely to result in operationally robust, safe and compliant, and readily constructable facilities.”
Burns provides critical engineering services for hospitals, airports, and theme parks across the Southeast. Current clients include HCA Florida Healthcare, the largest healthcare network in the state, as well as Greater Orlando Aviation Authority and the Broward County Aviation Department.
