Osceola Regional Medical Center, Chiller Plant Upgrade
Project encompasses the complete redesign and expansion of the existing Chiller Plant at this 404-bed, Level II Trauma Center. The upgrades will add 2,400 tons of cooling capacity with 3 new 800-ton mag-bearing centrifugal chillers, the addition of two new Cooling Towers, all new Condenser Water pumps, and new variable frequency drive(s) for new CHW/CT equipment.
This massive project will entail all new hydronic piping systems design for efficiency and hospital expansion. Construction Site Management includes development of a site logistics plan, crane location and coordination, temporary cooling location and coordination. Burns has created this extensive design to keep the hospital 100% operational, with no down time, all the while in keeping with Joint Commission and other regulatory regulations and policies.
