The City of Simi Valley has engaged Burns to support the implementation of battery-electric bus charging infrastructure at the Simi Valley Transit Maintenance Facility. Our team will assess electrical demand and available capacity; identify required utility service upgrades; support procurement of equipment and a charge management system; provide construction management services; and coordinate with Southern California Edison’s Charge Ready Program. Our future-flexible designs will also consider potential microgrid integration with solar generation and battery energy storage.
