The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)-USA is one of the country’s largest technical organizations, supporting professional advancement for 150,000 members across the country and advocating policies that expand societal benefits of technology.

Burns Project Manager Philip Gonski, PE was recently appointed secretary/treasurer on the IEEE-USA Board of Directors, deepening his long-standing involvement with the organization.

Philip previously served as IEEE Region 2 treasurer, East Area chair and Philadelphia section chair. Phil has also contributed to IEEE 2030.7, the technical standard for the specification of microgrid controllers.

“I am thrilled to continue my involvement, supporting IEEE as we continue fostering collaboration among engineers working on the cutting edge of technology innovation,” Philip said.
