Project Manager Anthony LoCicero, PE, LEED AP, Assoc. DBIA recently authored an editorial, featured in STRUCTURE Magazine.
Anthony serves as chair elect of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Coalition of American Structural Engineers (CASE). As part of his role on the CASE committee, Anthony shares industry best practices with fellow structural design leaders.
Anthony’s editorial, titled “Here’s a Recruiting Tactic: Find a Purpose,” discusses exciting opportunities emerging in structural design. He emphasizes the importance of highlighting these new opportunities when recruiting and retaining top talent.
“What it means to be a structural engineer is changing,” Anthony writes. “A broader definition is necessary to reflect the increasing complexity—and importance—of structural innovations.”
