Aviation Expert Chris Gubeno Lands at Burns

Burns is excited to announce the addition of Chris Gubeno, PE, to our aviation team. Chris brings extensive experience in aviation engineering and a proven track record of developing innovative solutions to complex airport design challenges. Known for his attention to detail and collaborative approach, Chris offers valuable expertise in construction phasing and problem solving. These strengths have contributed to his success as both a designer and project manager.

Chris has led planning, design, and construction efforts for on-call and large-scale infrastructure and facility projects across the United States serving clients like the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, the City of Philadelphia, and the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command. In addition to project leadership, Chris has leveraged his expertise as a project peer reviewer, provided expert witness testimony, and spoken on planning, design, and construction topics at local, regional, and national conferences.

Sr. Vice President of Aviation Brian Phillips has known and respected Chris for many years and feels having him at Burns brightens the firm’s future. “I couldn’t be happier to have the opportunity to work beside him as Burns continues delivering quality solutions to our growing list of aviation clients,” said Brian.
