Burns Supports Renovations of HCA Houston Woman’s Hospital of Texas

The Houston Woman’s Hospital is Texas’ 420-bed, premier facility dedicated to the health of women and children of all ages and every stage of life.
Burns is serving as engineer of record for a Houston Woman’s Hospital cooling tower replacement project. Burns will also provide project oversight and construction management for installation of:
- Two 1,300-ton, three-cell cooling towers
- Condenser water pumps
- Variable speed drives
Project challenges include maintaining hospital continuity throughout construction and coordination of temporary cooling services.
The cooling tower replacement is among several healthcare projects Burns is performing across Southeast Texas.
