Burns to Design Reliable and Resilient Power Generation Facility in Indiana

Burns’ Power and Utilities team will provide conceptual design services for a four-unit, 1,040 MW simple-cycle, natural gas-fired, utility-scale generating facility in Indiana.

To support the development of power generation on the site, our team will provide a high-level qualitative assessment of substation and voltage step-up options as well as a plot plan and two general arrangements for the power island and 765 kV switchyard.

This work is intended to support current and future load growth in Indiana and provide reliable, dispatchable generation for decades to come.
