Newark Liberty International Airport Opens Consolidated Rent-a-Car Facility

Today marks the official opening of a brand new Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRac) Facility at Newark Liberty International Airport.

The 2.7-million-square-foot facility centralizes 10 rental car operations and provides travelers with a streamlined, simplified rental process. The facility is connected to the recently completed Terminal A.

Conrac Solutions entered into a 40-year lease agreement with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) to deliver and operate the privately financed facility.

Burns led mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology design. Burns also designed the electrical infrastructure for a 5-MegaWatt rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) array, advising interconnection for what currently stands as the largest U.S. airport rooftop solar PV installation.
