Burns is performing all technology and multi-media system specialty engineering for the largest expansion project in airport history.
Once complete later this year, the 1.6-million-square-foot, world-class South Terminal Complex will increase capacity by 10-12 million passengers with 15 new gates at Orlando International Airport (MCO), already the busiest airport in Florida.
The new terminal deploys innovation and technology to enhance the passenger experience, improving travel efficiency, upholding passenger safety, and exciting the imagination. The $2.8-billion complex is designed as the first LEED®v4 airport campus.
