Burns welcomes Project Manager Richard Drouin, PE, LEED® AP continuing the growth of our New York City office.

An early advocate of high-performance building solutions, Richard applies principles of integrative design to maximize system efficiencies and enhance occupant comfort.

With more than 20 years of mechanical engineering and project management experience, Richard’s past work includes design and revitalization of iconic New York City landmarks such as the St. George Ferry Terminal’s LEED renovation, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and the Empire State Building’s visitor center, observatories and exhibits.

Richard’s expertise also covers airport expansions and redevelopment. Project experience includes LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B and John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 5i.

“From aviation and transit facilities to healthcare and municipal buildings, Burns is performing many of the most challenging and innovative specialized engineering projects across New York,” Richard said. “I look forward to supporting our clients across these industries with improvements that advance system performance, reduce facilities’ environmental footprints, and bolster operational resiliency.”
