Burns Designs Orlando International Airport Traction Power Systems

Burns is designing traction power system upgrades for Orlando International Airport’s automated people mover (APM). Upon the project’s completion, Burns will have engineered all APM power distribution systems across the airport campus.

Burns is consulting Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the contractor selected to design, build, operate and maintain the electric-powered transportation system connecting Terminals A and B with Airside Terminals 2 and 4.

Burns is a trusted partner leading design and integration services for APMs across the country. Recent experience includes projects at Los Angeles International Airport, Tampa International Airport, and Washington Dulles International Airport.
