Franklin Square Reopening Honored Among New Jersey’s Leading Infrastructure Projects

Burns congratulates the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) for recognition with a Leading Infrastructure Projects Award from New Jersey Alliance for Action!
DRPA’s Franklin Square Station reopening project received this great honor at the 12th annual Leading Capital Construction Projects awards program. Franklin Square Station is among 25 major infrastructure projects recognized this year for advancing New Jersey’s economy through safe and efficient infrastructure development.
Burns is proud to support DRPA restore rail service at the 87-year-old Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) Franklin Square station. Closed for nearly a half century, the reopening involves significant station repairs and complete replacement of critical site infrastructure. Burns is leading design and supporting construction as the project’s engineer of record.
