Burns Grows New York Operations, Transitions to Larger Midtown Office

February 13, 2024

Burns celebrates our much-anticipated move into a larger Midtown Manhattan office.

Our new office is located a short walk from Penn Station at 44 W 28th Street.

“After doubling the New York team in recent years, Burns is taking over the 16th floor of our new building. This exciting growth reflects the strong demand for Burns’ innovative design expertise and unrelenting commitment to project excellence,” said Vice President Joseph Mizrahi, PE.

The New York office delivers engineering services for many of the region’s largest critical infrastructure projects — supporting aviation, commercial, healthcare, higher education, railroad and transit, and public works clients.

Burns is a longtime partner for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Amtrak, New Jersey Transit,  NYU Langone Health, City University of New York, and various New York City agencies. Clients driving our recent growth also include Mount Sinai Health System, St. John’s University, Pratt Institute, New York University, Northwell Health, and Manhattan College, among others.

Major projects include proudly serving as owner representative for Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal A.

The New York office also collaborates with Burns counterparts in other regions, delivering multi-disciplinary expertise to support projects across the country.

Burns is actively recruiting engineering talent for our growing New York operations.
